MIKE WATSON - bass guitar, vocals....High energy bassist joined TRIAD April 2009. As a child, Mike grew up being influenced by bands and artists of the 60's and the 70's and by the early 70's was learning to play a little guitar but it was during his mid school years that he picked up the bass guitar and realized that it was a natural fit for him. During his high school years, it was his main instrument to play. When he got out of high school, in 1979, he was traveling full time playing country and blues. It wasn't until somewhere around 1985 that he started playing more rock oriented music and he wound up on the road with a band called Flash. That project lasted for about 5 years. Since then his history has included being a studio session musician in 1995. Also playing bass and mandolin for the Dogs In Denial band "Alagator Records". 1996, studio player playing bass for Todd Taylor "Interscope Records", 1997-2004 Big Dixon "Lost Gold Records" 2006, traveling full time with the Movin South Band, 2008 till present working with David Lambert and the carolina rails. TRIAD welcomes Mike's high energy and experience to the stage!!
